The TELDAP Union Catalog is a service platform developed by the Taiwan e-learning and Digital Archives Program, making the search of collections of digital archives nationwide possible. Using the single cataloging interface, you can search among a hundred-plus groups of digital archives across fields from all over the country. Materials found can be used in education, research, and industrial value-adding, making the TELDAP Union Catalog a powerful tool for academic research, education development, and enterprise applications.

Single-interface search engine

Through a single interface, you can search the resources of original databases created by every participating institution of TELDAP. For more specific results, your search can also be filtered in various ways, such as by individual disciplinary field or geospatial attribute.

Centralized system

The TELDAP Union Catalog is a centralized catalog using the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) and XML (Extensible Markup Language) applications. Updated metadata in the catalog are uploaded by institutions regularly or gathered by the system automatically. However, the digital objects are not stored in the service system; rather, they are stored at each database, which provides the information to users according to search results.
